Please consider volunteering for the following:
Greeters help make guests and visitors feel welcome.
Ushers help make guests and visitors feel welcome, distribute service pamphlets, help people find their way around the church, invite people forward to receive communion and dismiss congregation at the close of the service.
Tellers assist with recording offering for the treasurer.
Altar Duty prepares the altar for Worship Services; can include preparing communion, flowers, candles, coffee and snacks for after service fellowship.
Ladies Guild meets monthly for fellowship and to discuss topics such as; church conventions, LWML projects, upcoming church events, kitchen needs, altar needs, possible fundraisers and/or donations to various missions. March meeting is March 9 at 9:30 a.m.
We also meet to make the following items for these organizations:

Baby Care Kits (all items should be new or gently used)
2 onesies
1 sleeper
1 receiving blanket
4 cloth diapers (can be made from flannel or t-shirts see instructions at Orphan Grain Train website)
2 rubber or reusable swimmer pants (not diapers)
2 washcloths
4 diaper pins or large safety pins
1 blanket
Hygiene Kits
1 bath-size towel
1 washcloth
1 bath-sized bar of soap
1 plastic soap box holder
1 toothbrush
1 sturdy comb
6 band-aids (1/2 or 3/4”)
1 small package facial tissues
1 metal nail clipper (attached file optional)
1 piece of strong ribbon or cord
We happily accept donations of the above baby or personal care items in new
or gently used condition. These items can be dropped off at the church.

Quilt Group meets most Monday or Tuesdays at 10:00 a.m. for tying quilts (depending on the member’s schedules). We make quilts for LWR, Orphan Grain Train or community organizations. Come join us! We love help! Please contact Marge McVey for dates and times.
